Acer Ginnala 'Emerald Elf'

Emerald Elf Amur Maple

Emerald Elf Amur Maple (Acer Ginnala ‘Emerald Elf’) is a deciduous tree known for its brilliant fall color. It grows with an open, rounded habit, thriving in full sun with regular watering and growing quickly to about 6 feet tall with an equal spread. The white, fragrant flowers appear in spring, but the tree’s main drama comes from its fall foliage, with colors ranging from dark red to purple. Native to central and northern China, Japan, and Manchuria, it can tolerate cold climates and is drought tolerant. Emerald Elf Amur Maple is considered invasive in some areas, including Minnesota.
