Sunrise Variegated Abeilia (Abelia x Grandiflora 'Sunrise' P.P.# 9698) is a compact evergreen shrub. Known for its long blooming season, it produces small white flowers throughout the summer and fall. The leaves are a variegated bright, glossy green and the branches are tightly packed together. It grows best in full to partial sun and requires regular watering in hot climates, reaching as large as 3 feet tall and 6 feet wide and taking on a mounded form. A member of the honeysuckle family, its flowers are an attractant for butterflies.
