Abelia x Grandiflora 'Prostrata' P.P.# 1431

Prostrate White Abelia

Prostrate White Abelia (Abelia x grandiflora 'Prostrata' P.P. #1431) is valued for its groups of fragrant white flowers. This semi-evergreen shrub stays short, growing only about 2 feet tall and producing long, arching branches that spread over the ground. Prostrate White Abelia flowers repeatedly throughout the summer, growing best in full to partial sun with weekly watering. Because of its tendency to spread low, this plant is often planted under windows or used as groundcover. Prune in the winter to help control the shape and spread of the branches and encourage a tidy appearance.
