Blue Fortune Hyssop

Blue Fortune Hyssop (Agastache 'Blue Fortune') is a large, perennial member of the mint family. The flowers of this easy to grow plant are tiny and light blue, growing on stalks that reach at tall as 36 inches. The flowers are tightly clustered into spikes that cover the tops of the stems, blooming throughout the summer to early fall. This plant grows best in full sun to partial shade and well drained soil of average richness. Blue Fortune Hyssop is an attractant for butterflies, and its leaves can be used to flavor drinks, adding a minty taste.
